Remove the Hard drive and put it in an External USB Drive. Then Use a another computer to view the files…..
Also most laptops allow you to hook up to an external monitor. Thomas P

If it is only your screen you can probably plug a normal monitor up to it and save your files externally. Personally I have a docking station that my laptop clicks right into so when I turn it on it is in the folded position and I use an external key board and flat screen monitor. I’m not sure if it needs to be setup in advance though.

your computer screen may be broken but there is nothing wrong with the hard drive unless you dropped the computer from a great hight you can take the hard drive out of the laptop and place it in a external hard drive case and retrieve the data Carling
