It would be okay to do it once in a while but no it would not be a good idea. The thin width of it does not give it area to cool down. Bassically you should turn off your netbook as long as the time you used it. But 24/7? thats get a desktop computer.

It is not recommended, but its really up to you. If you need to leave it on, then leave it on it won’t die out or anything. It’s a very good idea to turn it off as often as possible, although. Zackery H
